Y160 – Making Sense of the Arts

February 13, 2017July 17, 2017 ~ debsadac ~ Leave a comment

It all began back in 2007 when I was working in the Specialist Retail division at the Co-op, in the IT department.  I was about to be made (very happily) redundant and was wondering what I was going to do next.  I'd been looking around for courses to study and thought it would be fun to … Continue reading Y160 – Making Sense of the Arts

Well hello and welcome 2017

January 9, 2017April 10, 2017 ~ debsadac ~ Leave a comment

Christmas and the New Year celebrations are well and truly over so this afternoon was spent on making a start on the OU section of the blog.  However, I have come to realise that writing a blog isn't just a matter of writing one word and then another and then another.....but sorting, organising and generally getting … Continue reading Well hello and welcome 2017

About Me

As of 2021, I’m currently studying for an MA in Classical Studies, as an (extra) mature student at the Open University.

Older than the average ‘mature’ student, but still got enough mental marbles to take advantage of a lifelong passion for British History, Ancient History & the History of Medicine and put them to good use by ongoing study.

Debsadac is a blog about my current journey in academia in pursuit of a Masters and details my years of studying for an undergrad with the Open University and a postgrad at the University of Leeds, both the highs and the lows and the in-betweens.  Click on About Me to find out more 😊
