Hello Leeds…..I’m back!

March 28, 2018March 28, 2018 ~ debsadac ~ Leave a comment

And so I found myself back in Leeds for the second semester. Now that I'm fully immersed back into Uni life again I'm feeling much more at ease with everything than I was last semester and thankfully I'm not running around like a demented headless chicken anymore! This semester I'm only scheduled to take one … Continue reading Hello Leeds…..I’m back!

A new year, a new semester…

January 25, 2018January 26, 2018 ~ debsadac ~ Leave a comment

So here I am at the beginning of a new year and about to begin a new semester.  I've not made any resolutions but would be very very happy to finish the first year of the masters in June with a pass, that will suffice.  And very nicely indeed thank you. To get towards passing … Continue reading A new year, a new semester…

About Me

As of 2021, I’m currently studying for an MA in Classical Studies, as an (extra) mature student at the Open University.

Older than the average ‘mature’ student, but still got enough mental marbles to take advantage of a lifelong passion for British History, Ancient History & the History of Medicine and put them to good use by ongoing study.

Debsadac is a blog about my current journey in academia in pursuit of a Masters and details my years of studying for an undergrad with the Open University and a postgrad at the University of Leeds, both the highs and the lows and the in-betweens.  Click on About Me to find out more 😊
